“The Troll Grandfather” is back!

After 3 years, THE TROLL GRANDFATHER by Clem Martini is touring again! The new cast of Valeria Ascolese, Tanner Zerr, and Holly Collis Handford enliven the story of a Trollish grandchild and grandfather with a fresh perspective that we are thrilled to share with young audience across the country.

The new cast recently completed a trip to Yellowknife, NT to perform at the Festival of Silliness with the Northern Arts and Culture Centre. Despite losing their luggage on the first day due to ‘too many animals on the plane’, the cast was greeted with a warm welcome and made quick friends with the Yellowknife community.

Did you know that you can ship a TYA set on a plane? It’s quite the balancing act planning all of the logistics to ship a set to Yellowknife and back with the span of six days, fortunately everything went smoothly thanks to Buffalo air and our amazing presenters. Axis Theatre’s sets have flown all over the world!

The Troll cast is set to take the stage again February 24th, 2023 at the Evergreen Cultural Centre in Coquitlam, BC (BUY TICKETS HERE). Then again March 4th, 2023 in Quesnel, BC (BUY TICKETS HERE).

Oh and we can’t forget about the schools! THE TROLL GRANDFATHER will be touring to schools in the Lower Mainland and British Columbia February 22nd to March 8th, and then onto schools in Saskatchewan from March 13th to March 28th. Perhaps we will see you there!
