Announcing General Auditions!
/Axis Theatre will be holding general auditions on Monday, June 24th and Tuesday, June 25th! Auditionees will be in consideration for the next two seasons, 2019-20 and 2020-21, for our provincial, national and international touring productions.
Axis creates original, entertaining physical theatre productions for the young and the young-at-heart. Axis productions are performed in schools and theatres, enriching curriculum, drawing children into stories and giving them access to ideas in new ways.

If you are selected to audition, please prepare a monologue no longer than 2 minutes in length. Keep in mind that we are exclusively a TYA company!
Equity members will be seen first at all audition calls. Equity members cast in this productions will be engaged under an Equity form of contract using the CTA-TYA touring agreement.
Seeking energetic and engaging and experienced performers with a passion for physical theatre and/or theatre for young audiences.
Assets include:
Puppetry, mask, mime and/or clown experience
Music & singing abilities
Valid drivers license and passport
Class 4 drivers license
