Paige Fraser The Boy/Trash Collector
Paige (she/her) is thrilled to be returning to Frog Belly Rat Bone with Axis Theatre alongside her dear Steffanie! She has worked with companies across Vancouver and toured across the country. Select credits include: Reflections on Crooked Walking (Firehall Arts), Elf The Musical (Arts Club), What If, Like It Or Not (Green Thumb) and Cabaret (Studio 58). She is a graduate of Studio 58 and Capilano University, a two time Ovation Award winner and two time Jessie Award nominee. Big thank you’s to Shannon and Melissa at da Costa, and Gabe. Paige was raised on the unceded land of the K’ómoks, Homalco, Wei Wai Kai and Wei Wai Kum nations. Her favourite colour is pizza.
Steffanie Davis Frog Belly Rat Bone/Trash Collector
Steffanie is an actor, singer, dancer and model based in Vancouver, BC. In 2023 she was one of ten artists chosen from across the country to participate in the EveryBody On Stage’s “Leading Players Project” in Toronto. Recently she just finished the touring production of Someone Like You with the Arts Club Theatre Company! Other select credits: East Van Pantos: Robin Hood, Beauty & The Beast (Theatre Replacement), World premiere of Someone Like You (Arts Club Theatre), We Will Rock You (Theatre Under the Stars); Cabaret (Raincity Theatre); Stile & Drewe’s The Three Little Pigs (Carousel Theatre for Young People); Grease (Chemainus); The Best Laid Plans (Patrick Street Productions). Next up Steffanie will be making her Bard On The Beach debut in Much Ado About Nothing & The Two Gentlemen Of Verona this summer! IG Steffwithanff.
Tom Pickett Voice of The Narrator (voice-over)
Tom Pickett has appeared in numerous Vancouver theatre productions and made his seventh season appearance at Bard on the Beach in Harlem Duet, by D’janet Sears. Tom will return to Bard this season as the King of France in Henry V in The Douglas Campbell Theatre tent on the Howard Family Stage. His recent film/tv credits include Christmas Time Is Here for GAC Family, Director Christie Will Wolf and a recurring role in Fire Country as Charlie (CBS).Tom hails from Berkeley, California and now resides in Tsawwassen, BC.
Sophie Kaplan Stage Manager
Originally from Maine, Sophie is a recent graduate from Bishop’s University, and has been living in Vancouver for the past year. Thrilled to be working with Axis again, Sophie first came aboard for their 2023 tour of Th’owxiya: The Hungry Feast Dish, exploring 9 provinces over three months. She then switched it up to perform in the 2024 Brave New Play Rites Festival, before returning to stage management for Handcuffed (Youth Theatre Society) and Keepers of the Salish Sea (Holy Crow Arts). Sophie is so thankful to be living and working here in Vancouver, and so excited to be touring again with Axis!
